Mended Hearts, Inc. is a National Non-Profit volunteer support group. The objective is to offer help, encouragement, and support to heart patients and their families by: (1) Visits, with physician approval: (2) Distribute educational material: (3) Establish & maintain contact with physicians and hospital personnel. (4) Cooperate with other heart related organizations. (5) Assist in rehabilitation programs; and (6) Plan and conduct suitable health educational programs for members. Our newsletter is mailed for three months to local patients we have met during our hospital visits. Those who join our chapter will continue to receive the newsletter and also the quarterly national magazine, “Heartbeat”. The ten accredited visitors make over 1000 visits annually at the local hospital, Genesis Healthcare Systems. Email contact webmaster@zville.org
